An interview with Jason Dirner, SOSA Technical Working Group Chair
Jason is serving his second term as the chair of the SOSA� Technical Working Group. He is the primary representative from C5ISR Center within the SOSA Steering Committee. Prior to serving as the chair of TWG, he was the vice-chair of the Hardware Working Group since SOSA’s inception. Drawing from experience with other open standards such as CMOSS, MORA, VICTORY, REDHAWK, VITA and HOST, Jason speaks about the inception and importance of SOSA, the intersection of existing open standards as well as what's to come with SOSA 1.0 and beyond.

SOSA & FACE Technical Interchange Meeting
Vice Admiral G. Dean Peters
The Open Group Consortia FACE� and SOSA� Technical Interchange Meeting (Virtual TIM) was hosted by NAVAIR PMA-209 and took place on March 23. Close to 800 people registered to hear experts from government and industry speak regarding the SOSA and FACE Open Standards. This number is a true testament to the level of interest and commitment to open standards.
